Pack trip & a sleepover

On Thursday morning Jarom and his brother Isaac headed up to a place called White cloud reservoir, were as an elders quorum they met up with the scouts for a weekend pack trip. So they loaded all of the camping gear and food onto the pack horses and led them up the mountain. They had a great time and both of them insisted that we move there! The only bad part of the trip was another leader had two of his horses break free in the middle of the night and went missing. They searched for them on horse back for three days but never found them! That stinks!!! So this was the first time Jarom has ever left me to go some were, so of course i didn't want to stay by myself so on Thursday i spent the day with my mom shopping and stayed the night at there house. Then on Saturday I headed over to Kathy's house (my sister-in-law/best friend) were her friend Cara was so awesome and watched the kids for us so we could go out to eat at Johnny Carinos, then we spent the night talking and watching movies. And in the morning we headed over to "Real deals" a home decor store and did a little shopping. What a great weekend we both had, but I really hated being away from Jarom, just the fact that we couldn't even pick up the phone to make sure everything was going OK really bothered me. I don't think i could be an army wife!!! Anyway it was Good times, with Great people!!!

Happy 31st Birthday Kim!!!

Today is Kim's birthday!!! We wish we could be there to celebrate with you! We just want you to know how much we love you and miss you! (they moved to Tennessee this summer) I couldn't find any pictures of just you!!! You must run from the camera. Anyway this is the Barrow family, our families have adopted each other and ever since we spend holidays and ever thing together, we were so sad when the moved but we know they are doing whats right for there family and we always have the blogs to stay in touch. Hope you have a Fabulous birthday and all your dreams and wishes come true! p.s. go get some olive garden

Lemons & Plums

So i know your looking at the green things in the bowl and saying to yourselves "Hello, those are limes!" And you would be exactly WRONG!!! Those are green lemons (Spanish use them most) a nice man named John from Jarom's work gave them to us. And the plums we got from Jaroms sisters house, who moved last month and left a whole garden and a plum tree behind. So hear is my question to you, WHAT CAN YOU MAKE WITH LEMONS (besides lemonade?) And what do you make with PLUMS!!!??? Besides give them away, I don't know what to do with them. So until someone gives me a good suggestion they will be sitting pretty in the fruit bowl!

Crafts

So this is what i did last night! It used to be brown, green, and blue. We decided it need a change so i asked Jarom what colors he wanted for our bedroom and he said Black and Red. So that's what i did. Now i guess we better get a comforter to match!!! I think we did it backwards!

What a packed Friday!!!

Well Grandpa and Grandma Peggy came for the weekend and with them they brought two of Peggy's granddaughters Chelsae and Alyssa from Spokane. So we had to show them a good time so Friday morning we headed for the zoo. We had lots of fun and there was the cutest baby monkey playing with it mom. I think we all could have stayed there for a few hours watching them alone if it wasn't so darn HOT! Then we headed over to cabellas, carol ranch wear, dessert book store, segal book store, out for Vietnamese food, and then to D&B . ( in case your wondering why all the cowboy stores, Chelsae was looking for boots) Then that evening we went to the snake river stampede rodeo. Its been a tradition since we were dating for jarom and i to go ever year. This was our seventh year going together, and it was not disappointing to say the lest! Well i hope that Grandpa and Peggy had a good time again this year and Chelsae and Alyssa i am pretty sure had a great time. Cant wait for next year!

Funny Guys

So today i was downloading all of my moms pictures from her camera on to the computer when i came across three guys i love to death and there sense of humor is very evident in the pictures! This must be were i get mine from!!! Just thought i would share with you all, hopefully they don't mind! :)

I LOVE GRANDPARENTS!!!

I am so spoiled! Today my mom and I get to go to my Grandma Hegerhorst house and stay the night there. Its been about a month since i got to see her last so i am excited to go, especially because we are going there for a special reason. My grandpa passed away a couple years ago and so my grandma asked me to put together a none fancy scrapbook of his life. So this weekend we are going to look through all of the pictures and pick the ones out for the book. I just love the whole process of making the scrapbooks for other people, you sure learn alot about there life and history its such a great experience. Two years ago i had the opportunity to make one for my Grandpa Jones for his 70th birthday, it was fancy and alot of hard work but i loved doing it for him. So back to being spoiled next weekend my grandpa Jones and grandma Peggy are coming down for a visit and to go to the rodeo. I just feel so luck to have my grandparents in my life and to have the opportunity to get to know them, because i know there are lots of people who never get the chance! And that is sad. So this is a picture of my Grandpa Jones& Grandma Peggy, i don't have one of my Grandma Hegerhorst but I will take some this weekend! (we are using a new computer and don't have any pictures saved to this one!)

Ruth & Ryans Wedding

Well, it was a long, hot, trip but well worth it! We went to Salt Lake on Wednesday and stayed the night with Jaroms parents and helped Carmen and Ryan stuff all of there wedding announcements.(the invites i made) Then on Thursday we drove down to St. George were Kathy and I hosted a bridal shower party for Ruth. Then on Friday we got up and went to the St. George temple were they had an all white wedding. (meaning all of the guest were in white too) It was so great to see them married for eternity. I know they will be so happy. We then went to a lunch in and the reception. We all worked really hard but it was well worth it! Then on Saturday jarom and i shopped around for a little bit and then made or way to salt lake. We stayed there until Monday and had a very eventful ride home! We also brought Jaroms 17 year old brother Isaac home with us, he will be staying her for a month learning how to train horses with Jarom and helping us out around the house. I think we are going to be very spoiled for July. And we are going to miss him tons when he leaves!!!
